In the weeks leading up to the release of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, select amiibo based on the series are being restocked online. The new Tears of the Kingdom Link amiibo, which will launch simultaneously with the game, was unveiled in addition to these drops.
New amiibo has been released often in conjunction with first-party Nintendo titles ever since the Super Smash Bros. series of figures debuted in 2014. Scanning an Amiibo on a Nintendo console will grant the player special in-game content, such as new abilities in Super Mario 3D World plus Bowser’s Fury or new outfits for their Miis in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.

The Pyra and Mythra amiibo set, the next in Nintendo’s Super Smash Bros. line, will be available for purchase on July 21. Collectors have shown a strong interest in amiibo, despite their different degrees of functionality, because they allow them to acquire functioning collectibles of their favorite Nintendo characters.
In anticipation of the release of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, a small number of amiibo from the Legend of Zelda series will be restocked.

Both Best Buy and GameStop are accepting online pre-orders for the Link amiibo, which are based on his appearances in Majora’s Mask and Twilight Princess. They will be released on May 12 alongside Tears of the Kingdom. Amazon is presently selling the Ocarina of Time Link amiibo.
In Tears of the Kingdom, players may utilize Zelda amiibo to gain access to unique gliders, so this is a great opportunity for fans to pick some up! It is unclear how the Wind Waker, Skyward Sword, and Wolf Link amiibo will work when scanned in-game, however, the official Zelda website lists them as compatible with Tears of the Kingdom.
There’s no telling whether or when these figures will be refilled, but you may still find them at secondhand stores. Following last month’s resupply of Mario amiibo, this report appears to indicate a trend with amiibo rereleases.
