Then, later this month, Amnesia: The Bunker, a fresh addition to a venerable horror series, will become available exclusively to Game Pass members. These games will keep subscribers busy for hours, but more are always welcome.
Hogwarts Legacy will be available on Xbox Game Pass in May 2023
Hogwarts Legacy came out a few months ago to overwhelming critical and economic success, despite the controversy surrounding Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling and several tale ideas. Unfortunately, people still playing on older systems haven’t had the chance to experience the Wizarding World for themselves, as this release was exclusive to next-gen consoles and PC.
Fortunately, on May 5 Hogwarts Legacy will be available for Xbox One. It would be awesome if it were added to Xbox Game Pass to help spread the word about its arrival on the platform.
Offering Hogwarts Legacy free to Game Pass subscribers would be a really kind gesture, but it’s highly unlikely to happen because Hogwarts Legacy has already been a tremendous sales success and Warner Bros. would likely want to try to repeat that with last-gen releases.
LEGO 2K Drive Is Xbox Game Pass’ New Game for May 2023
The best features of the original LEGO Racers series have been updated for the brand-new open-world racing game LEGO 2K Drive. The base price of $59.99 for PC and previous-gen platforms and $69.99 for current-gen is a bit pricey, but LEGO 2K Drive appears to contain a lot of content, including multiple open-world hubs, side missions, races, and tons of customization choices.
It remains to be seen how this price affects sales, but it seems highly doubtful that many fans will want to pay the full price for the game, making it a great candidate for a free Xbox Game Pass game in May 2023.
Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun Xbox Game Pass New Game for May 2023
Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun is a fantastically gory 90s throwback FPS that takes the grim-dark world of Warhammer 40K and gives it a classic Doom makeover while being a lower-profile release overall.
Despite Boltgun’s modest size and $20 price tag, it would be a welcome addition to Xbox Game Pass this May if it were included in the service’s lineup of games.

Cult of the Lamb, one of the most popular indie games of 2014, puts players in control of a demonic-possessed lamb who must lead a cult of adorable animal characters on a mission to purge the globe of blasphemers and heretics.
Cult of the Lamb is a worthy addition to Xbox Game Pass because of how well it combines roguelike and life-sim gameplay. This would come at a great time, as on April 24 Cult of the Lamb will release the free DLC pack Relics of the Old Faith.
