On June 30, 2023, in North America and Europe, Nintendo Switch owners can expect to get their hands on The Master Detective Archives: Rain Code. Spike Chunsoft has not yet announced any intentions to port the game to other platforms, but we will be sure to update this article accordingly.

How does Master Detective Archives: Rain Code play?
Ingeniously fusing visual novel, adventure, and action game mechanics, Master Detective Archives: Rain Code is a lucid-noir detective adventure. Take control of Yuma, a young man who, along with his ghostly friend Shinigami, works in the name of the Master Detectives from the World Detective Organization to solve cases, as is to be expected from the creative minds behind the Danganronpa series.

While Danganronpa is largely static, you’ll have complete freedom to roam the fully 3D Kanai Ward, a rainy metropolis with countless mysteries. Track down the missing Solution Keys, take part in exciting turn-based combat, and use your wits to deduce the truth in order to solve the cases.
The truth can be found in a mysterious world known as the Mystery Labyrinth, which will become apparent as your inquiry continues. The interior is an ever-evolving maze where you must overcome a wide range of tricks and traps.
If you want to expose the truth, you’ll have to avoid the assertions of the hideous Mystery Phantoms and cut through their contradictions with the solution blade.
