14-inch And 16-inch Macbook Pro: It seems that new 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models may, at last, be on the horizon after rumors that Apple has a product announcement scheduled for tomorrow and the finding of an undisclosed MacBook Pro in a Canadian regulatory database.
14-inch And 16-inch Macbook Pro
We’ve summarised all we know so far regarding the upcoming 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pros in advance of any potential launch.
M2 Pro And M2 Max Chips
The M2 Pro and M2 Max CPUs for greater performance are anticipated to be major new features of the upcoming MacBook Pro models. As leaked benchmarks revealed last year, Mark Gurman of Bloomberg stated such chips will only provide “marginal” performance gains over the M1 Pro and M1 Max chips in the existing versions.
Wi-Fi 6E In M2 Pro
The new MacBook Pro will feature Wi-Fi 6E, which extends Wi-Fi to the 6GHz band for more bandwidth, quicker speeds, and better latency. This wireless frequency range was stated in the Canadian regulatory file. Standard Wi-Fi 6, which is restricted to the 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands, is supported by the current 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models.

Faster RAM
Uncertainty surrounds the claims that the next MacBook Pro models will have “extremely high-bandwidth, high-speed RAM.” The newest LPDDR5X RAM from Samsung may be used in the new models, which would theoretically allow for a 33% boost in memory bandwidth while using 20% less power.
No Design Changes
Both Apple analysts Ming-Chi Kuo and Gurman have predicted that the next MacBook Pro models won’t have any significant outward design changes.
This feature would not be entirely unexpected given that Apple completely overhauled the high-end MacBook Pros in October 2021 with additional connectors like HDMI and MagSafe, a notch at the top of the display, an all-black keyboard area, and more. A spec jump in 2023 is a reasonable assumption because big hardware updates for MacBooks frequently occur over several generations.
