This year, the Samsung Galaxy S24 will face fierce competition from Google, which has recently introduced a terrific cheap choice in the Pixel 7a ahead of releasing its Pixel 8 series of flagship devices later in the year, not to mention Apple’s iPhone 15 lineup.
When it comes to being one of the most excellent Android phones on the market today, Samsung’s Galaxy S23 range of phones has been the ones to beat, and the firm will need to bring its A-game with the Galaxy S24 if they want to maintain it that way.
We’ve bagged and bundled every tidbit about Samsung’s forthcoming flagship handset into one location, from official word to credible leaks to whispered speculations. Scrolling down, you can discover some information on the Samsung Galaxy S24, such as its release date, price, and specifications.
Samsung Galaxy S24: Release date
Historically, Samsung releases its most recent flagship Galaxy S series phone between mid-January and early February. There is no clear pattern for the announcement, so we’ll have to keep our eyes peeled during the winter months and hope that Santa Samsung brings us some news to thaw our frigid hearts.
However, we know the phone will be available approximately 2-3 weeks following the unveiling. This would put the Samsung Galaxy S24’s release date in February or March 2024.
Samsung Galaxy S24: Price
Samsung’s pricing structure has been consistent across the last three Galaxy S models: the Galaxy S21 cost $799 at launch, as did the Galaxy S22 and S23. As a result, with no new information to suggest otherwise, we expect Samsung to stick to its gμns and deliver the Galaxy S24 for $799.

Samsung Galaxy S24: Specifications
When the Galaxy S24 is unveiled, many people (especially those outside the United States, South Korea, and Singapore) will look for its chipset. With the release of the Galaxy S23, Samsung abandoned its prior approach of delivering separate chipsets for different areas to bring Qualcomm Snapdragon CPUs to all of their handsets.
This was welcome news for many, as Samsung’s phones had previously been paired with an inferior Exynos chipset in specific locations. Will Samsung make this a standard practice in the future, or will they revert to previous habits? Rumours are spreading that, tragically, this might happen again.
Leaks about how much RAM the S24 will have been conflicting, but one reliable source believes that the S24’s 8GB of RAM will be upgraded to 12GB of RAM and that base models will have 256GB of storage capacity, double that of the S23’s base model offering.
Anthony, a verified account, has just posted on Twitter that the Galaxy S24 series base models will come with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, as shown below-

Aside from these adjustments, there’s no word on anything new coming to the Samsung Galaxy S24’s display or camera array, so expect a similar lineup of a 50MP primary camera, 12MP ultra-wide, 10MP telephoto, and 12MP selfie array with a fast 120Hz AMOLED display.
