Galaxy S24 Ultra Rumored Release Date
Based on prior Galaxy flagship announcements at that time of year, the Samsung Galaxy S24 series will most likely be presented by Samsung sometime in late January or early February 2024.
Based on the bulk of previous Galaxy flagship releases, Samsung prefers to unveil its new flagships in late January or early February, providing the company with a significant head start over its primary competitors.
We don’t expect Samsung to deviate from this course and launch the premium flagship earlier or later than this period. Not all the dates are in late January or early February 2024, as this is when the Galaxy S24 Ultra will most likely launch. The second Galaxy should hit the market two or three weeks later, in late February or early March 2024.

Galaxy S24 Ultra Camera Features and Specs
The Galaxy S24 Ultra may ditch the Sony IMX image sensors on its telephoto/periscope cameras in favour of its ISOCELL sensors. This might give Samsung more control over image quality and increase the synergy between the various cameras. Samsung has applied for trademark protection for “ISOCELL Zoom” in the United Kingdom, which leaves a lot to the imagination.
Samsung will abandon the dedicated 3X telephoto camera in favor of the 10X periscope lens. What about zoom settings ranging from 1X to 10X? Cropping the primary camera’s 200MP ISOCELL sensor (which will almost certainly remain) might allow Samsung to use a hybrid zoom that emulates the function of a 3X camera, with a bit of aid from on-device AI. Rumors also suggest a 150X Space Zoom function, which would be a further throw than the previous Galaxies’ 100X Space Zoom.
However, according to leaks Revegnus (@Tech_Reve on Twitter), Samsung will keep the same camera configuration as the Galaxy S23 Ultra. At the same time, the telephoto lens with variable zoom in the 3X-10X range has been scrapped. There will also be no 5X telephoto zoom; the 3X telephoto zoom found on most prior Ultra phones will return with the Galaxy S24 Ultra.

Another Galaxy S24 Ultra camera enhancement could be due to software. Who has an excellent track record of correcting leaks, Samsung will focus on image post-processing to get better photos from its already outstanding technology, just like Google, which employs machine learning and artificial intelligence to generate excellent camera results.
Furthermore, the 200MP camera sensor that debuted with the Galaxy S23 Ultra is returning. Why? It’s just a new platform with a lot more to offer in the coming years, and with all of the hardware, software, and image processing advancements that Samsung will almost certainly provide, this camera has the potential to become a super-performer.

Galaxy S24 Ultra Storage Options
Even with the cheapest model, a genuine flagship should have plenty of storage. The Galaxy S24 Ultra would likely start with 256GB of internal storage, just like the Galaxy S23 Ultra, and expand to 512GB and a range-topping version with 1TB of storage. Of course, the latter is more expensive, but it will hold all the images and videos you’ll take with your phone.
