Titanfall Secret Single Player Game Reportedly Canceled By EA. Electronic Arts is in the midst of a string of cancellations and closures at the moment, with the newest being a previously unknown project code-named TFL or Titanfall Legends, which was a covert single-player game situated in the same universe as Titanfall and Apex Legends. Bloomberg was the first media outlet to report the news.
It is not known very much about Titanfall Legends, other than the fact that it was apparently directed by Mohammad Alavi, who has worked on a variety of projects, including the Titanfall games, as a designer. Early on in the previous year, Alavi left EA.
The cancellation comes at the same time as the shutting down of Industrial Toys and the mobile versions of Apex Legends and Battlefield respectively. According to Bloomberg, the termination of the Titanfall Legends game had an impact on approximately fifty game creators. It has been suggested that EA will make an effort to relocate them to other roles within the corporation.
The most recent standalone release of Titanfall occurred in 2016. It had a slow start in terms of sales, but because to its excellent design for a single-player shooter, it eventually garnered a following.

Our review from the time stated, “It’s unusual that a sequel evolves on every component of the original concept so consistently for the better, but Titanfall 2 is that exception.” “It’s rare that a sequel evolves on every part of the original concept so consistently for the better,” “Both the engrossing action and platforming gameplay of its solid story and the over-the-top competitive multiplayer are built upon its feelgood movement, which serves as the game’s foundation.
Titanfall 2 is Respawn’s realisation of its initial concept for the game, with improvements to the game’s progression, personalization, and variety, as well as a more developed narrative. And to top it all off, playing it is just a whole lot of fun.”
It was superseded by Apex Legends, a battle royale game released in 2019, which removed the mechs but kept the setting the same. Observers were taken aback by the fact that Apex Legends Mobile was taken offline yesterday, less than a year after the game’s initial launch; nevertheless, Electronic Arts has dropped hints that the game could be revived in the future.
In the case of Titanfall, it appears that a decent sequel will take even longer to develop.
