The OnePlus 11 is an extremely capable smartphone, but the design isn’t exactly what you’d call exciting. Now, the company has unveiled a version of the device called the OnePlus 11 Concept that is intended to counterbalance that narrative with… a significant number of LED lights.
The “flowing back” has an LED lighting pattern that resembles a meandering stream and a ring that is designed to go around the camera module. It also has a unibody glass construction. According to the announcement made by OnePlus, it will take place on February 27 in Barcelona during the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2023.
One Plus 11 Is Best For Gaming
LED lighting is utilized throughout the design, which takes inspiration from the aesthetic of gaming personal computers. That makes sense when you realize that the OnePlus 11 is one of the better gaming smartphones now available. It has features such as a display with a refresh rate of 120Hz, an extraordinarily fast 100W charging system, and a processor that is based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 architecture.
OnePlus has released limited edition phones in the past, some of which have been themed after popular franchises such as Star Wars and Pac-Man. Nonetheless, it appears that this is the company’s first device to feature exterior LED illumination that is modeled after the transparent light-up back of the Nothing Phone 1. It also takes some inspiration from the OnePlus 8T concept, which featured a rear that could change color.

In case you were wondering why the lighting is the way that it is, the company has stated that it is to “show the engineering breakthroughs of the OnePlus 11 Concept by highlighting the icy blue pipelines which run through the entire back of the phone, almost like OnePlus 11 Concept has its own series of blood vessels.”

It is not entirely clear whether the moniker “Concept” refers to a special edition phone that will be put up for sale or whether it simply refers to the product itself because it is a one-off concept product. If the latter is the case, then it will undoubtedly be distinguishable from other mobile devices. In any event, we should find out more when it is revealed on the 27th of February at 3pm Eastern Time (ET).
