The newest gameplay video for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League contains what appears to be an objective or trophy connected to the Riddler.
Rocksteady finally debuted in-game footage from Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League as part of Sony’s first State of Play of 2023 after years of delays and anticipation from Batman Arkham fans. Unfortunately, the footage hasn’t been well received; many Arkham fans have noted that it’s more akin to a live-service looter-shooter than the next development in the Arkhamverse.
Arkham fans have been closely examining the trailer to try and spot as many details as possible and get a better understanding of what Kill the Justice League is all about, despite the fact that the gameplay footage didn’t quite live up to expectations.
Riddler is Back
Anyone who has attempted to complete all of the previous Arkham games will undoubtedly experience shivers as a result of one of the most intriguing discoveries: it appears that the Riddler is back.
A green circle with the Riddler’s question mark in the center can be seen on the ground during one scene of the gameplay trailer, as noted by Twitter user NicholasJLevi. It appears to be an objective marker of sorts because it also emits a dim green glow.
Even though it doesn’t exactly resemble a Riddler trophy from the Arkham games, it’s still obvious that it has something to do with the character and seems to suggest that he will be making a comeback in some capacity.
Even though Rocksteady described other characters who aid the Squad, like the Penguin, the Riddler wasn’t mentioned at all in the gameplay footage. Despite the fact that it’s pretty obvious from the question mark that we’ll either be solving puzzles from him or he’ll have his own dedicated collectible of some kind, it appears that it’s still keeping the character and his involvement under wraps for the time being.
