You’re not the only one who may be having some PSN technical issues right now. Despite the fact that it appears to be highly location-specific, many individuals have been complaining on social media about difficulties accessing their games.
Some users encounter warning windows when trying to launch games on their system, explaining that consoles can’t connect to the servers to authenticate their game’s license.
Some gamers are also having trouble restarting their gaming sessions after being booted out, as first reported by VGC. The licenses may typically be restored manually by entering into the system settings of your console, though some who try this are also encountering problems.
It’s important to note that other folks may not be having any problems at all, so you may want to check your own console before postponing any planned gaming sessions.
Users may “have problems opening games, apps, or network services,” according to the PlayStation Network support website as of the time of writing. This issue affects both PS4 and PS5 consoles. While stating that the problem will be rectified “as soon as feasible,” PlayStation has not said when it will be fixed.

Is PSN down? I just got kicked from my Hogwarts Legacy session stating it can't verify my license. When I go restore licenses, it states can't connect to PSN but my wifi works on everything else.

Whatever the case, at least we are aware that PlayStation is cognizant of the issue and taking action to address it. Although it won’t take long for services to resume, it would be preferable to allow PlayStation an hour or two to fix the issue.
