To complement existing titles such as BurgerTime Deluxe, Side Pocket, and Xevious, Nintendo Switch Online now features Kirby’s Dream Land 2. A YouTube video published by Nintendo highlighted the March 2023 NES, Super NES, and Game Boy Upgrades for the service’s Basic NSO and Expansion Pack levels.
Kirby’s Dream Land 2 and BurgerTime Deluxe, both new additions to the Game Boy library, will allow players to travel to the Rainbow Islands, while Side Pocket and Xevious, both new additions to the Super Nintendo and Nintendo Entertainment System libraries, will put players’ reflexes and dexterity to the test in the arcade.
In February, Nintendo Switch Online received support for both old Game Boy and Game Boy Advance titles, with the former being made available to users with a Basic NSO membership and the latter being made available to users with an Extension Pack subscription.
While some players were originally dissatisfied with the performance of Nintendo Switch Online when the Expansion Pack arrived in October 2017, the games did run at 60 frames per second in all areas, and the service has since been improved.
