Inside Job Is Canceled By Netflix After One Season: Netflix has canceled the animated sitcom Inside Job after just one season. The scheduled second season of the program has been canceled, according to Shion Takeuchi, the show’s creator.
She posted on Twitter, “I’m heartbroken to confirm that Netflix has decided to cancel Season 2 of Inside Job.” I’ve grown to care about these characters over the years, and I’m heartbroken that I won’t get to see them mature.
In a world where conspiracy theories are genuine, Inside Job chronicles the story of Cognito Inc. employees Reagan Ridley (Lizzy Caplan) and Brett Hand (Clark Duke), a team who works for a shadow government organization.

“Reagan and Brett deserved to have a happy ending, and they did. And I really wish I could have told you all that was in store,” Takeuchi continued. “I want to thank everyone who watched for following along. Although I’m depressed, it helps to know that other people felt the same way about these characters as I did.
Takeuchi has written for animated shows including Regular Show and Disenchantment in addition to Gravity Falls. She worked on the Pixar films Monsters University and Inside Out as a narrative artist as well.
Within a few months of its first renewal for a second season in June 2022, Inside Job has now been canceled.
