Goat Simulator 3 Ad Used GTA 6 Leaked Footage: After including the stolen Grand Theft Auto 6 video, a new Goat Simulator 3 trailer appears to have received take-down requests from Take-Two.
A new Goat Simulator 3 trailer was posted by Coffe Stain North, as noted by Eurogamer, however, it is now difficult to locate due to DMCA takedowns. Why is that? Leaked footage from GTA 6 was included in the clip.
According to a source by Eurogamer, the trailer opens with Shaun, an NPC who was acting in a mock interview for a ragdoll NPC position in Goat Simulator 3. Shaun said that he graduated from the “most prominent rag-dolling school in the world.”
When questioned about his further work, Shaun replies, “I have other stuff in the works, other, enormous game worlds. Some footage that was leaked a few months ago shows me in person.
Then Shaun shows clips of himself being inserted into the GTA 6 leaks. And it was this video that prompted Take-Two to take down the trailer.
The familiar “This media has been disabled in response to a report by the copyright owner” message can now be seen on a dark screen in screenshots of the Goat Simulator Twitter account that previously displayed the trailer.
The GTA 6 leak came from September when Rockstar Games affirmed the validity of a number of online-circulating footage. Rockstar tried to have the footage pulled down from the internet by claiming it was “early development footage” that had been illegitimately obtained from its servers.
In spite of the leak, the studio claims that “production on the next Grand Theft Auto game will proceed as planned.”
