Elon Musk Allegedly Had His Own Tweets Prioritised Out Of Jealously

To determine why people’s For You feeds became The Elon Musk show, Platformer spoke with Twitter employees. They said that the company’s developers had actually created a mechanism that benefited only their Leader. James Musk, a Twitter employee and Elon’s cousin, allegedly posted an urgent message on the company’s Slack on Monday morning.

He said, “We are diagnosing an issue with engagement across the platform,” describing the issue as “high urgency” and requesting assistance from anyone who can write code. the circumstance? More people responded to President Biden’s tweet about supporting the Philadelphia Eagles than to Elon Musk’s.

According to reports, the president’s tweet had close to 29 million impressions, compared to 9.1 million for Musk’s tweet before he removed it. Musk’s problem with his tweets not receiving as much attention as he would want began before the Super Bowl, though.

Platformer earlier claimed that one of Twitter’s two remaining lead engineers was fired because he suggested that Musk’s tweets aren’t getting as many impressions any longer since people aren’t that interested in what he has to say.

But, they also looked into genuinely plausible technical problems because the website’s infrastructure should have automatically boosted tweets from users whose postings regularly perform well.

The fix they came up with, Platformer says, is to deploy code that would artificially boost Musk’s tweets by a factor of 1,000, ensuring that they rank higher than everyone else’s in people’s feeds. Musk’s tweets were consequently seen by more than 90% of his 128.9 million followers, and even those who don’t follow the Twitter founder continued to view his updates on their timeline.

Musk tweeted his thoughts on the subject, thus disputing the Platformer article.

Several major media sources incorrectly reported that my Tweets were boosted above normal levels earlier this week.

A review of my Tweet likes & views over the past 6 months, especially as a ratio of followers, shows this to be false.

“Many significant media organisations wrongly reported that my Tweets were boosted over typical levels earlier this week,” he said. ” There was a glitch that briefly gave replies the same prominence as original Tweets, but it is now corrected.”

The term “ecosystem” refers to a group of people who work in the construction industry. Also, he urged viewers to continue watching as Twitter changed its “algorithm” (his quote; not ours) in response to user complaints that they were constantly seeing Elon Musk.

Elon’s tweets are still artificially enhanced, although by a factor of less than 1,000, according to Platformer, so “adjustments” didn’t mean fully eliminating his edge. In conclusion, users will continue to see his tweets frequently unless they decide to switch to the Following tab.
