Dragon Age: Dreadwolf Will Let You Leave Tevinter, According To Leaks: Throughout its protracted, problematic production process, Dragon Age: Dreadwolf has undergone an ungodly amount of alterations. One thing, though, has remained constant throughout: it must lead us to Tevinter.
This was made abundantly evident by the conclusion of the Inquisition, in which Solas fled to the remote area to carry out the subsequent stage of his world-ending designs. We might not entirely spend our time in this new nation, according to a recent revelation.
We can see that at least one of the tasks will take us to Weisshaupt, the Grey Wardens’ home, in a brief gameplay clip posted by an apparent playtester. Weisshaupt is situated in the Anderfels, a region outside of the Tevinter Imperium and one we haven’t seen before in the series.
This hints that the plot of Dreadwolf will let us travel abroad and explore other locations, just like we did in Inquisition.
The video shows our new hero, whoever they may be, fighting alongside their allies against Darkspawn in Weisshaupt. The Warden HQ should be the most well-protected base there is, yet for some reason, the animals have taken possession.

While it is a little unexpected that Dreadwolf’s journey takes us outside of Tevinter, it is not entirely improbable. Tevinter and the Anderfels truly share a land border, according to Theda’s map. Additionally, a prior Dragon Age leak said that the player’s home base would be full of portals leading to other places, making it simple for us to enter and exit Tevtiner.
Overall, this could imply that Dreadwolf’s maps would resemble Inquisitions in that they will cover a large area and emphasize the open-world architecture. Of course, because we haven’t yet seen any official gameplay footage, this cannot yet be confirmed.
It will be interesting to see if this current leak leads BioWare to offer us a true peek at the game at some point in the near future. However, the company has not commented on any of these events to date.
