CodeMiko’s devoted fanbase on Twitch may finally relax now that the popular V-ban tubers have been lifted. Using a shock collar on oneself while live streaming was against Twitch’s rules, so CodeMiko was banned.
CodeMiko, who has nearly a million followers on Twitch, has thousands of people that check in frequently to see her. Miko used a shock collar in a recent stream, violating Twitch’s standards and punishing him. Anything “that praises, promotes, or encourages self-harm” and “physically dangerous behavior” are prohibited on the streaming service. The suspension, however, did not stay long, as CodeMiko has already taken to Twitter to proclaim its lifting (via Dexerto).
CodeMiko, a popular YouTuber, said she had been banned from streaming on Twitch for seven days. However, following an investigation by the service’s employees, they found that the ban had been issued in error and lifted the suspension.
A tweet below by CodeMiko:
I GOT UNBANNED! TWITCH REVERSED THE BAN AND REMOVED THE STRIKE! I originally got banned for the shock collar content for 7 days. After they looked into it they decided it was an incorrect ban 🥳 YAY IM FREEE!!

In the wake of the shock collar incident, CodeMiko was banned for the eighth time. Her Twitch channel vanished after she was forbidden, and a message saying, “This channel is temporarily inaccessible due to a breach of Twitch’s Community Standards or Terms of Service,” appeared.
Recently, Miko and fellow Twitcher HanaxBanana played a game in which the rule was “you laugh, you lose,” with the forfeit being a shocking noise if either player laughed. A shock collar was on Miko.
Because of her success in V-tubing, in which she presents herself as a digital avatar superimposed on her body and face, CodeMiko has become a viral sensation. Young Kang, aka Miko, uses the Unreal Engine and high-tech motion capture costumes and gloves to bring her alter ego to life. Thus, the popular streamer will spend more time on Twitch in the future.
