In what might be the most disturbing use of AI so far, the cast of SpongeBob is live streaming their obsession with sex. SpongeBob and Patrick can’t stop talking about what they do in the bedroom, from one-night stands to threesomes. Meanwhile, a Twitch channel that streams AI-generated episodes of the show goes completely off the rails.
People are sharing clips online of SpongeBob and Patrick talking in great detail about their hanky panky, but the channel that hosts the streams is still on Twitch. People in Bikini Bottom are talking about drug use and Squidward’s ongoing problems with kleptomania and depression on the live stream, which just went live again.
In one clip from the most recent stream, SpongeBob and Patrick try to set up a sneaky date, but Sandy asks if she can come along. The two of them don’t like this idea very much, and they tell her that neither of them wants to have sex with her. You know, typical SpongeBob antics.
The tweet below shows the proof with a video clip:

When they’re not talking about how much they love each other under the sea, they often talk about how Mr. Krabs uses ketamine and how SpongeBob thinks it’s gotten out of hand. The intervention isn’t going so well because Krabs says he doesn’t even know what ketamine is.
Even when the dialogue stays PG-13, the stream is at best strange to watch. In one scene, Sandy and Patrick talk for a long time about her dream job of collecting rocks, and in another, Patrick has trouble getting to the gym every day. Even as I write this, SpongeBob and Pat are looking into ways to cheat on their taxes. All while the models of their characters fly all over the place.
The stream kept going long enough for me to finish this article. It was taken offline for a minute or two, but it’s back online now and proudly shares way too much personal information about SpongeBob. Only when something goes wrong, which makes everything even harder to understand.
