Back 4 Blood Will Not Have Any More Content: Finalized is Back 4 Blood. Turtle Rock, the game’s creator, announced today that it has no intentions to release any Back 4 Blood DLC. Although that may be disappointing for fans of the cooperative zombie-killing spree, Turtle Rock is now developing a brand-new game.
The studio said on its official website that “this stage of our struggle against the Ridden now comes to a finish.” “For a studio that creates AAA games, Turtle Rock Studios is actually quite small. We don’t have quite enough people to keep working on Back 4 Blood content as we start up another game. As a result, it’s time for us to concentrate, head back to the lab, and start working on the next big thing.”
Back 4 Blood had a rocky debut despite having some success on Game Pass. Solo players discovered they were unable to track their stats, advance toward supply points, or kick inactive players from multiplayer rooms. Both problems were finally resolved, but some gamers felt that it took too long for those solutions to appear.
The fact that Left 4 Dead 2 continued to attain greater concurrent player counts on Steam despite being almost a decade old is perhaps the biggest criticism against Back 4 Blood.

However, Turtle Rock refused to let a little issue like the number of Steam users keep them from succeeding. Along with multiple patches and quality-of-life improvements, the company produced three expansions for Back 4 Blood: Tunnels of Terror, Children of the Worm, and River of Blood. Today, there are still enough players in the game to fill a four-person Cleaner squad on Game Pass and PlayStation Plus.
Turtle Rock made the pledge to return “Back, bigger, braver, and better than ever,” yet it is completely unknown what they will work on next. Fans of zombie video games can still anticipate the April release of Dead Island 2.
