An Immersive Food Tour of the Night City Is Possible With the Cyberpunk 2077 Mod: After some delay, CD Projekt Red managed to get Cyberpunk 2077 up and running properly, allowing us to finally explore a future setting created by the same team as The Witcher 3.
The expansive and thriving city of Night City can be compared to some of the best open worlds in video games. Cyberpunk 2077’s campaign, sadly, does a poor job of presenting you with the entire city, but on its alone, it’s a fantastic place to explore. The meal is the only downside.
At one point in the game, you run across Jackie when she’s chowing down on a bowl of ramen, and you simply stand there like a (cyber) punk. If you’re anything like me, you’re probably wondering why you can’t taste the meal; some mouthwatering animation would be the icing on the cake. However, a new update has made it possible for you to finally take that cuisine tour of Night City that you’ve always wanted to.
With the help of the “deceptious” Immersive Food Vendors mod, you may place orders for and even consume a variety of food products from different Night City eateries (thanks, PCGamesN). According to the definition of “deceptious,” “When you go there, you can now truly have an animated snack.
Works for all of Night City’s food vendors; the “Diner Robbery” substitutes two drinks for two food selections because he is adamant that you have a drink.
Food does cost Eddies (the majority of food in the game costs 25, so generally, they average to that number, but I tried to make the values match the amount and quality of the item being eaten) and does have the same effect as consumables (fully fed).”
The only items on the menu, for now, are a sandwich, burger, sushi, apple, pudding, and a hot dog, though this does give an extra element of immersion. These food models aren’t quite as intricate as those in Monster Hunter, but they nonetheless offer you a gratifying bit and crunch.
The Immersive Bartenders mod, created by the same person, has V downing whatever bottle of booze they buy in one swift motion.
