After its debut, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom received universal acclaim from critics and gamers alike, with many praising the game’s practically flawless implementation of a wide variety of skills.
The game did launch with a few bugs, but players now have the capacity to build intricate machinery that somehow magically works. It was revealed on day one that users may use a glitch to create copies of any shield, bow, or melee weapon in the game.
Earlier on the day Tears of the Kingdom was made public, Twitter user Modoki_returns apparently discovered the bug-

It’s not hard to recreate, but there are a few specifics to remember. Given Nintendo’s history of not patching Breath of the Wild’s bugs, the duplicate bug may remain in the game long after its release.

How to Copy Armor and Weapons in Tears of the Kingdom
Make sure Link isn’t carrying any protective gear or weapons before attempting the ruse. In order to duplicate an item, players must have access to at least one example of the same type that is weaker than the target item.
A player who wants to copy a shield from the ground must have an inferior shield in their inventory. The process can begin once the player has removed all equipment except armor and has correctly identified the item on the ground as an unacquired upgrade.
Simply picking up the object will bring up a menu with further options. Don’t close this window; instead, press the plus sign (+) to access Link’s bag without leaving this window.

Pressing the Y button will sort the inventory by Strength, moving the newly acquired item to the extreme left. You should then don a shield or weapon that you don’t mind losing, as the one on the ground will be replaced with a duplicate. Close this menu and the prompt will be accepted.
Even if Link doesn’t pick up the weapon or shield, he should make it like he’s holding it. When Link equips a weapon or shield, it will seem identical to the fooled item in his inventory, but will still have its original name.

Last but not least, if you place the item you are currently using on the ground, it will instantly transform into a second identical replica of the newly discovered weapon or shield.
The Nintendo Switch is the only platform on which you can play The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
