Fable, the magical kingdom, the fairy, the sword, and the toad were all revealed in a CGI video during the Xbox Games Showcase in July 2020. Many hoped to see it again since there will be no first-party CGI trailers at the 2023 Xbox Games Showcase. Many people were keeping their fingers crossed because it would be the first major exhibition of its kind in three years.
In reality, supporters had every right to anticipate its presence. Someone sprinkled a ton of glitter on their carpeted floors leading up to a monitor displaying the Xbox Games Showcase in a recent social media post advertising the showcase.

The glitter trail and music were unmistakable references to the game, and there’s no other reason to risk ruining one’s home for years if not for the Fable revival. Those hoping for a new Fable series can finally check that off their list.

As seen in the clip below, the Fable trailer opens with some thoughts on what it means to be a hero and how the time of heroes has passed, giving way to the age of invention. A mystery narrator reveals the hero is a giant by spotting him despite his diminutive size.
The preview concludes with an F-bomb and then shows the Fable logo and hints that the hero has killed the giant, all while saying the game will be available on Xbox Game Pass on launch day.
Behold! The Fable Xbox Games Showcase has been unveiled for your viewing pleasure. Do peruse at your leisure.
However, no specific Fable release date or time frame was mentioned. Although not unexpected, this in-game look at the title is stunning nonetheless.
