How to play “The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom”
To a large extent, the gameplay of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom will expand upon the more unrestrained movement and combat of the first Breath of the Wild.
First, the landscape has expanded upwards into the clouds, allowing Link to swan dive from dungeons high above the sky and use brand new skills (fueled by the sword arm’s glow rather than the Sheikah Slate) fast leap from the ground into the air.
Throughout the three trailers, we see Link wielding various weapons, including a wooden axe, many swords, multiple shields, a bow and arrows, and more. It appears that Tears of the Kingdom will be an improvement over its predecessor in many ways, including new and returning Sheikah skills and more open exploration.
