The new Survival Horror game Suffer the Night, developed by Tainted Pact, is a love letter to 80s slashers, and its release is not far off. The developers have announced the April 17th release date for Suffer the Night on Steam. Indeed, you can still get your hands on the demo.
Suffer the Night is offering “all the campy 80s slasher fun you could ask for, with the added bonus of traditional dungeon crawler gameplay,” as Tainted Pact put it while announcing the release date and unveiling new pictures.
Players in Suffer the Night assume the character of Stacey Liden, a horror-themed painter who lives alone in a cottage in the woods. Stacy puts the floppy disk she received in a mysterious mail into her ancient computer and starts playing.

A mystery guy appears to her as she makes her way through the terrifying text adventure, and he quickly turns threatening, pleading with her to complete the game. The odd dread from the game begins to leak into the actual world as she accomplishes this.
Yet, this is not to imply that the unknown individual won’t make his presence known for other reasons. You’ll have to deal with his interruptions in the middle of the game or else.
Suffer The Night has a demo and may be added to a PC Steam wishlist right now. Click here out the trailer until the complete game’s April 17th, 2023 release.
