Initially scheduled for November 2022, Bethesda has pushed Starfield’s release into 2023. Unfortunately, the upcoming open-world game was not shown off very well at the Xbox and Bethesda conference this past summer.
To put it mildly, Starfield shows promise. This has the makings of a classic PC game. We don’t know everything about the open-world (open-galaxy?) space adventure game yet, but we know a few things.
Starfield’s release date has been confirmed. We’ve cobbled together as much information as possible from interviews, trailers, and developers’ cryptic comments to show what we might be playing this year. This is all the information we have about Starfield at the moment.
When is the Starfield release date?
Microsoft’s Matt Booty indicated that Starfield would be released after Arkane’s Redfall in the “first half” of 2023, which was rumored to be the release window for Starfield.
However, given that this game will be released in May, the likelihood of Starfield being released in the first half of 2023 was always remote. On June 11, the space game will receive a standalone presentation called Starfield Direct.
This game-specific program should provide an in-depth examination of the game’s mechanics.
Initially scheduled for release on November 11, 2022, Bethesda announced in May 2022 that the game would not be released until 2023.
The official Starfield support page reaffirmed the release date, stating the game would be available in the first half of 2023. With this announcement, we now know that Starfield will be released in September.
