We can all attest to the fact that Sony’s PlayStation 5 sales have skyrocketed since the company finally has systems available for purchase after months of supply problems. However, the Xbox Series X’s performance has been subpar.
But that doesn’t imply Microsoft’s platform isn’t worthwhile; we’re curious whether any of you die-hard PlayStation fans are considering upgrading to the Xbox of the current generation. Send us your thoughts, and we’ll publish the most interesting ones in an upcoming Readers’ Opinion column.
From our point of view
Since I already possess a Series X Xbox, this is something of a moot point, but in the alternate universe where I haven’t spent all my money on video games, the Xbox is a fantastic option as a Game Pass machine.
However, Sony has been steadily improving PS Plus behind the scenes for the past few years. You can play PlayStation 5 exclusives like Horizon: Forbidden West, Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, and Demon’s Soul, as well as a ton of games from PlayStation’s vast library of classic titles. PS Plus is a viable alternative to Game Pass thanks to Sony’s superior exclusives and other features.
