Sony has announced the PS Plus Extra and Premium games for June 2023, including the highly anticipated sequel to Rogue Legacy. Rogue Legacy 2 has already been made available for the PC, Switch, and Xbox platforms, but it will be added to the PS4 and PS5 family for the first time on June 20 as part of PS Plus.
Beginning on June 20th, PS Plus Extra and Premium members can download Rogue Legacy 2 and other titles at no additional cost. After then, they’ll be accessible as long as a player has a PS Plus Extra and Premium membership or until Sony takes them down.
More titles have been removed from the higher PS Plus tiers in recent months than in the initial few months, but this is to be expected. It’s encouraging that new features are being developed faster than old ones are being removed.
If you haven’t played Rogue Legacy 2, you’re missing out on an action-packed platformer with roguelike and Metroidvania influences. After dying, players begin a new game session by creating a descendant with random attributes and abilities.
With a Top Critic Average of 89 on OpenCritic and a placement in Metacritic’s top 20 games of 2022, this roguelike indie game is among the best and most popular in its genre. Additionally, all previous DLC for Rogue Legacy 2, including The Swan Song, will be included in this release.
This consists of a new Boss fight, three new Fabled Weapons, three new Game Modes (True Rogue, Thanatophobia, and Thana-two-phobia), and a new location.
