Pokemon Horizons’ experiences in Paldea have been ongoing for quite some time, but they appear to be coming to an end for the time being. The Rising Volt Tacklers appear to be boarding the Brave Asagi and taking to the sky again in Episode 17. After making plans in previous episodes, perhaps the group is now on its way to the Galar region.
Whatever the situation may be, Pokemon Horizons fans will find out in a matter of days when Episode 17, Wattrel and Fuecoco’s Secret Big Training!, premieres in Japan. However, how can viewers enjoy the show? When and where will it be accessible to watch?
Watching Pokemon Horizons episodes outside of Japan can be difficult, but it is entirely doable if viewers are willing to take a few extra steps.

What Can Fans Expect in Pokemon Horizons Episode 17: Examining the Preview
The Rising Volt Tacklers successfully forced Spinel of the Explorers into retreat and rescued Liko’s prized pendant at the end of the series 16th episode. They reassembled on the Brave Asagi and appeared to be on their way to a new site, presumptively Galar, as they had planned in previous episodes before Spinel disrupted the group.

This appears to be the case in the teaser for Episode 17, which shows the Brave Asagi flying through very strong winds. However, the trailers show many of the gang’s Pokemon battling Captain Pikachu to hone their talents. The episode title specifically mentions Fuecoco and Wattrel.
For the time being, it appears that the Rising Volt Tacklers have eluded the Explorers and are heading to Galar to solve the mystery surrounding the black Rayquaza. Regardless, the only way fans will know for sure is to watch Episode 17 when it premieres in Japan on August 11, 2023. Pokémon Horizons Episode 17 Sees Special Training for Roy
The promo for episode 17 shows Friede’s Charizard and Captain Pikachu sparring in a training session, and it appears Roy will join in while the ship goes in order to improve Fuecoco’s connection with his new Wattrel, who got into a quarrel during their battle with Spinel.
Wattrel has already demonstrated its worth by assisting in the recovery of Liko’s pendant, but as a newly captured Pokémon, it still requires some training to become the best it can be. Dot appears to be more comfortable leaving her room and socializing with Roy and Liko after their journey to obtain Liko’s pendant.
The airship crew is off on a new adventure, and Roy appears to be making the most of their transit time by practising. With the Galar region ahead of them, Liko and Roy are in for a whole new world of adventure, as neither has visited this region of the Pokémon world before.
However, Liko has a grandmother there, and as the original owner of the pendant, she may have some mysteries to divulge if the airship crew can find her. Pokémon Horizons is approaching a new story arc, leaving Paldea behind for the time being in favour of new adventures.
