Overwatch 2 Season 6: Battle Pass Skins, Rewards, and Price
Overwatch 2 Season 6 began with a new 80-tier Battle Pass for players to go through as they play the game, just like in previous seasons.
It’s themed after Invasion and the season’s PvE missions, and while the pass’s Free reward track will bring you a significant portion of its prizes, you’ll need to purchase the Premium Battle Pass to access all its features.
The Premium Battle Pass costs 1,000 Overwatch Coins, equal to $10. You could buy the Battle Pass with the 1,000 Overwatch Coins you receive with the $15 OW2 Invasion Bundle. Along with cosmetics, emotes, voice lines, and sprays, the Battle Pass includes Overwatch Credits throughout its reward tracks.
This unique money can be used to unlock earlier skins and cosmetics from the original Overwatch, making it especially important to those who discovered Blizzard’s hero shooter with Overwatch 2. The Free track awards 1,500 points, while the Premium track awards 500. The table below details every award from the Season 6 Battle Pass’s 80 tiers.

Overwatch 2 Season 6: Invasion Pve Story Missions
The new PvE story missions in Overwatch 2 Season 6 are the meat of the game. In these, you and three other players (or AI-controlled bots) team up to fight Null Sector, a gang of omnic terrorists led by none other than Ramattra, the tank hero introduced in Season 2.
In total, three new missions will be available to play, including “Resistance” in Rio de Janeiro, “Liberation” in Toronto, and “Ironclad” on the all-new Gothenburg map. During these stages, you can play as heroes returning to or partnered with the Overwatch task force. Reinhardt, Winston, Tracer, Sojourn, Genji, Mei, Brigitte, Lucio, and Baptiste are among those mentioned, among many others.
Similar to the limited-time Overwatch Storm Rising level released in 2019, these Overwatch 2: Invasion missions advance the story of the Overwatch universe through many cutscenes and extensive interaction between the characters. Overwatch appears to be regrouping and coming together to stop Null Sector (and Talon, who has been gaining strength in the shadows).
To access the story missions in Season 6, purchase the OW2 Invasion Bundle for $15. It includes “permanent access” to all three tiers, 1,000 Overwatch Coins, and the opportunity to acquire an exclusive Vigilante Sojourn Legendary skin. It also unlocks Sojourn if you don’t already get her.
Overwatch 2 Season 6: Flashpoint Mode and Maps
Season 6 of Overwatch 2 also featured a new PvP mode called Flashpoint. Each team is charged with conquering control spots known as flashpoints distributed across enormous areas.
At any given moment, only one flashpoint can be active, with the one in the centre of the map constantly unlocking at the start of the round. After capturing a flashpoint, it locks and a random neutral flashpoint is unlocked. This process is repeated until one team has captured three flashpoints.
Notably, Flashpoint maps are the largest in Overwatch history and have been built symmetrically so that both sides can access the same cover, sightlines, and pathing. When flashpoints closer to one team’s spawn unlock, things become less balanced. In these instances, one team will most likely reach a position before the other, resulting in a more significant attack/defend engagement in which a variety of Overwatch 2 characters can excel.

Suravasa and New Junk City are the two Flashpoint maps available. We expect Blizzard to create more maps for the mode in the future, as it is a fundamental mode that will always be available in both Unranked and Competitive playlists.
Season 6’s addition to the Overwatch cast, like the last new hero, Lifeweaver, is a Support hero. Her name is Illari, and now that the Invasion update is out, we can give you a full rundown of her abilities:
- Solar Rifle
- Primary: Long-range auto-charging rifle that fires similarly to Sojourn’s Railgun alt-fire. Consumes solar energy.
- Secondary: Medium-range healing beam.
- Outburst: Launch into the air in the direction you’re moving. Hold Jump to go higher.
- Healing Pylon: A turret that heals allies that come near it. It can be attached to any surface; half of its health is rechargeable shields.
- Captive Sun (Ultimate): Launch into the air and fire an explosive ball of solar energy. Enemies hit are slowed and explode for heavy damage after taking additional damage from you or your allies.
While we don’t know where Illari will fit in the PvP meta because she just came out and won’t be playable in Competitive play for a few weeks, it’s evident that she was built to be most effective in defensive mid-range settings.
Her Solar Rifle has much power if you land many critical hits, and the Healing Pylon is excellent for helping your allies defend objectives. Outburst also aids her in evading potentially lethal or movement-inhibiting strikes, and Captive Sun appears to be a compelling area of denial Ultimate.

Season 6 Mythic Skin: A-700 Wargod Ana
Overwatch 2 Season 6 introduces the captivating A-700 Wargod Ana Mythic skin, obtainable halfway through the Premium Battle Pass. This skin transforms Ana into an omnic from the Null Sector terrorist group, central to Overwatch 2’s story.
The default version dons Null Sector’s iconic white and purple hues, while customizable options include black and red or tan and orange variations. The skin features diverse armour and rifle styles, providing players with distinctive choices.

The heart of Overwatch 2 Season 6 lies in its PvE story missions. Cooperative gameplay involves four players (or AI-controlled bots) collaborating to combat Null Sector. The tasks include “Resistance” set in Rio de Janeiro, “Liberation” in Toronto, and “Ironclad” on the new Gothenburg map.
Renowned heroes like Reinhardt, Winston, Tracer, Sojourn, Genji, Mei, Brigitte, Lucio, and Baptiste, among others, return to face the omnic threat and further the evolving Overwatch narrative.
Echoing the impactful Storm Rising event of 2019, Overwatch 2: Invasion missions advance the game’s lore through dynamic cutscenes and character interactions. The tasks depict Overwatch’s resurgence and its resolve to thwart the Null Sector and the growing shadow of Talon.
To access Season 6’s story missions, players can acquire the OW2 Invasion Bundle for $15. This bundle grants permanent access to all three levels offers 1,000 Overwatch Coins, and includes the exclusive Vigilante Sojourn Legendary skin. Furthermore, the bundle unlocks Sojourn herself for those who haven’t already obtained her.
Overwatch 2 Season 6 introduces Flashpoint, a novel PvP mode. Teams compete to capture flashpoints—control points spread across sprawling maps. A flashpoint activates initially at the map’s centre, with subsequent ones emerging randomly.
Teams aim to seize three of five flashpoints to secure victory. Noteworthy is the mode’s expansive, symmetrical maps, designed to provide balanced cover, sightlines, and paths. As flashpoints shift closer to one team’s base, strategies diversify, leading to engaging attack and defence dynamics where various Overwatch 2 heroes excel.
Two Flashpoint maps are available: Suravasa and New Junk City. Blizzard plans to expand the map selection over time as Flashpoint becomes a core mode featured in both Unranked and Competitive playlists.
Overwatch 2 Season 6 brings players the enthralling A-700 Wargod Ana Mythic skin, an engaging PvE experience, the captivating Flashpoint PvP mode, and a bundle to access exclusive content and missions. Players engage with evolving narratives and thrilling gameplay dynamics as Overwatch’s universe unfolds.
