The 37th playable hero in Overwatch 2 is a support hero with the name of Lifeweaver. On April 4, Overwatch 2 will reveal more details about Season 4, including information about this bold hero.
As Season 3 of Overwatch 2 winds down, Blizzard’s free-to-play first-person shooter will shortly receive a new Battle Pass. Season 4 and Season 6 of the Battle Pass were intended to introduce new heroes to the Overwatch 2 roster; however, these additions turned out to be support characters instead.
Overwatch 2’s forthcoming season introduces a new hero called Lifeweaver. The outstanding support hero has a cherry blossom motif, as evidenced by the flower produced in his mechanical arm and the ornament on his back, and is exceedingly lovely.
If one counts the male-presenting Omnic monk Zenyatta, then Lifeweaver would be the fourth male support hero in Overwatch 2. Though few were anticipating him to be so attractive, one look at this new character confirms Overwatch 2 was not joking when it claimed there would soon be two cute support heroes added to the game.
While we don’t know much about Lifeweaver just yet, we can get a glimpse of him in his unveiling screenshot. Despite their popularity in Japan, cherry blossoms originated in the areas surrounding the Himalayas.
His appearance and attire are appropriate for the setting, which is reminiscent of temples in Thailand, one of the countries that border the Himalayas. Players of Overwatch 2 may make an interesting connection with Symmetra, especially given the aesthetic similarities between her hard light technology and his holographic cherry blossom, and the country’s proximity to India.
Overwatch 2 Character 37 Lifeweaver Is Revealed
Fans of Overwatch 2 can’t contain their excitement over Lifeweaver. Around 15,000 retweets and 35,000 likes were given to the reveal article on the official Overwatch 2 Twitter in under an hour. Many players have been won over by the hero’s kind nature and sleek appearance, despite having seen only a single image of him thus far. Many gamers are crossing their fingers that Lifeweaver will become their next main even before we learn anything about her.

Lifeweaver, like Kiriko and Ramattra before him, will be available to Season 4 of Overwatch gamers after purchasing the Battle Pass. Players can expect to get their hands on the new support character at Battle Pass tier 45 if the events of Overwatch 2 are any indication. Like previous expansions to the game, if players don’t unlock this new hero during Season 4’s two months, they can unlock him via Hero Challenges.
You can now get Overwatch 2 on PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox One S.
