Sony has confirmed that the Japanese studio will develop the PC version of Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart. Together with Ratchet creators Insomniac Games, Nixxes Software is handling the port. The game resembles successful PC games like “Horizon: Zero Dawn” and “God of War.”
The newest entry in the popular 3D platformer series is one of the highest-rated PlayStation 5 games ever. It was launched in 2021. The latest adventure from the Lombax and Robot duo, Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart, became available for download on the PlayStation Plus Extra tier in May 2023. On July 26, the PC version of Rift Apart will be launched.
Support for ultra-wide monitors in 21:9, 32:9, and 48:9 (triple monitor support) is included in the PC version of Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, as is DualSense compatibility for haptic feedback and dynamic triggers on PC. It’s important to note that controller functionality is restricted to hardwired connections only.
Here is a tweet about the PlayStation 4’s official account of the same occurrence that is given below:

Rift Apart will include an unlocked framerate, according to the developers at Nixxes Software, unlike the PS5 version, which offers players a variety of performance and graphic modes. High-end PC gamers can push for 4K and ray-traced images without compromising framerates. Sony acquired Nixxes Software to create PC ports, which will please certain players who prefer to have more control over the game’s performance settings.
The PC requirements for Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart have not yet been finalized. Those crucial players who haven’t yet upgraded to an SSD may want to consider it seriously. Rift Apart was not a cross-gen game since it required the PS5’s solid-state drive (SSD) to handle the game’s rift concept, which transports Ratchet to different parts of the world in a flash.
Before moving on to Marvel’s Wolverine, Insomniac Games is preparing for the release of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. With two major Marvel games in the works, it may be some time before fans see another substantial adventure starring Lombax and Robot. Despite the long wait until the next game in the series, fans can take heart in the fact that Sony is committed to expanding the Ratchet & Clank universe thanks to the PC port.

The PC version of Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart will be released on July 26 alongside the PlayStation 5 version. You can follow us on American Tech Journal to receive more stories like this that are equally as intriguing.
