Leon Kennedy’s search for and rescue of Ashley Graham from the hands of a deranged cult is chronicled in Resident Evil 4’s remake. To advance the main story, players must battle their way through hordes of diseased enemies, while there are few moments where this is unnecessary.
In RE4’s remade Chapter 9, Leon needs to obtain three different statue heads to progress. You can find these heads by investigating every section of the Grand Hall, but you’ll likely have to put in some extra work to bring one home.
There is a way to skip the phase where Leon has to endure a rather intense opponent rush in order to get the goat head.
How to Get the Resident Evil 4 Remake’s Goat Head?
The goat head can be accessed by ascending the stairs by the chimera statue and entering the door to the south on the second floor of the Grand Hall. When Leon reaches the end of the hall, he will enter the Gallery and have to cross the bridge that overlooks the lower level.

The severed head of a goat that Leon requires for the plot will be found at the end of this passageway. A short cutscene plays while Leon approaches it, showing a Cultist lowering the platform he’s standing on and pinning him to the ground floor with a horde of opponents.
Leon would have to fight his way to the other side of the room to raise the platform for him to cross if the Cultists weren’t able to be stopped.
How to Skip the Goat Head Sequence in the Resident Evil 4 Remake
When Leon is on the platform leading to the goat head statue, he can toss a Hand Grenade or a Flash Grenade on the balcony just in front of the goat head to stop the Cultists from lowering him down to the floor below.

Leon can avoid going down to the first floor entirely if he is able to time his interruption of the Cultist lowering the platform appropriately. Players should take their time crossing the platform while pointing their throwable at the balcony, and then release it when it is pointed squarely behind the railing.
It may take a few tries, but if you’re accurate and quick, the Cultist won’t be able to lower the platform. When Leon walks back across the platform after retrieving the goat head, he is ambushed by three Cultists.
When facing up against three foes, a shotgun’s wide blast radius can come in handy by dealing damage to all of them at once. If players need more bullets, they should look in the vases that were previously housing the goat head.

Players can find the Blue Medallion hanging from the lower level and destroy it before returning across the walkway. The Blue Medallion is on the first floor, near to a pillar; to get a good look at it, the player should turn left when facing the walkway and look down. To fulfill the Merchant’s Destroy The Blue Medallions 4 requirement, this medallion must be destroyed.

Leon can easily avoid the opponents waiting for him on the ground floor of the Gallery by retracing his steps back via the entrance he entered and returning to the chimera statue with the goat head as long as Ashley is not caught or rendered unable to fight. The remade version of Resident Evil 4 is now available for PC, PS4, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.
