Someone has discovered a secret message in the latest update to GTA Online, which may indicate that Rockstar is preparing to make an announcement. The fifth game in the Grand Theft Auto series is among the highest-grossing video games ever, selling about 180 million copies worldwide. But it’s been nearly a decade, and some are waiting for the sequel.
In the meantime, there’s always GTA 5’s multiplayer mode, where you may team up with other players to pull out heists or cause mayhem. New male and female clothing items are among the many additions made in the recent San Andreas Mercenaries update for Grand Theft Auto Online.
One of these garments, however, appears to have been encoded with a secret message from the designer, and it has taken some investigation to figure out what it says. One of the new shirts in the most recent GTA Online update features a string of numbers that, at first glance, doesn’t seem to indicate anything. This was discovered by the Twitter account GTANet.

The numbers themselves mean nothing, but when fed through a decoder that translates numeric values into letters, the result is “ONEDAYWILLREVEALALL.” It may be a coincidence, but some people in the Twitter thread are convinced Rockstar is dropping hints about a future announcement. Naturally, everyone is anticipating news about Grand Theft Auto 6.
There have been many rumours about GTA 6, including its possible release date since it was first suspected that a new instalment in the series was in the works. Before the leak in September 2022, most people outside the company hadn’t seen much of the upcoming title. Rockstar has been relatively silent regarding the sixth instalment, but the deciphered message raises the possibility of an announcement.
