Genshin Impact: Version 3.8 Summer Event
This week, with the release of Genshin Impact Version 3.8, HoYoverse announced the upcoming “Secret Summer Paradise” event. Players of Genshin Impact can soon look forward to a new summer event that will grant them access to a playable character, new outfits, and a plethora of resources at no cost.
Before the Fontaine region is unlocked in version 4.0 of Genshin Impact, players must wait for the final update, version 3.8. Before entering Fontaine, Genshin Impact players can visit the Veluyriam Mirage, a fantastical land with alluring landmarks and verdant valleys.
The update’s narrative and reintroduced banners feature fan-favourite Mondstadt characters like Kaeya, Klee, and Eula. Additionally, Inazuma’s Sangonomiya Kokomi and Kaedehara Kazuha will be available in Genshin Impact Version 3.8’s upcoming second release phase.
Before the release of Version 3.8 on July 5, HoYoverse published a new HoYoLab blog post explaining Genshin Impact’s Secret Summer Paradise event. The Spino Buster, Sojourns of the Barking Fox, Dance of Flashing Thought, and Bing-Bang Finchball will all be available to participants throughout the summer tournament.
One of the event’s unique currencies, Fascinating Phenocrysts, can be earned by playing minigames at these attractions by Genshin Impact participants. Several rewards, such as Primogems, the Crown of Insight, Mora, and the playable character Layla, can be purchased with Fascinating Phenocrysts.

Discovering the Veluyriam Mirage and participating in Secret Summer Paradise are great ways to rack up some Joyeux Vouchers. Joyeux Vouchers can be redeemed in the event shop for temporary unique benefits by Genshin Impact players. Primogems and Kaeya’s brand new “Sailwind Shadow” outfit are among these benefits. Kaeya’s new look will be available in the Character Outfit shop for 1,680 Genesis Crystals with the release of Version 4.0.
As the Traveler and Paimon prepare to enter the Fontaine region, the Secret Summer Paradise event seems to be a happy farewell to the Sumeru region and characters from earlier updates.
There is a good chance that numerous Primogems will have been accumulated before the next Genshin Impact update is released, making Version 3.8 an excellent time to summon new Fontaine characters. The new 3.8 patch also restores the ability for players to call upon Eula, who was removed from the summon banner more than a thousand days ago.
HoYoverse will likely provide more details on the Fontaine region in the second Genshin Impact Version 3.8 phase as the summer event continues. Genshin Impact Version 4.0 is scheduled for release in the second part of August, so fans won’t have to wait too long.
Available now on Android, iOS, PC, PS4, and PS5 is the action game Genshin Impact. There are plans to create a Switch version.
