Players of Disney Speedstorm will quickly learn that each of their racers has a corresponding level. In addition to improving their numbers, players who want to advance through the game’s “circuits,” it’s equivalent to a story mode, must level up their racers.
Players may ask what the best strategy is for quickly leveling up racers, as doing so demands more and more resources as you progress through the game, and some supplies are unique to the Disney Speedstorm franchises.
Raising a racer’s star rarity is not the same as raising their level. The former needs players to locate character shards, while the latter can be accomplished with goods like racing flags and specific unique resources for leveling up characters. In Disney Speedstorm, a racer’s star rarity determines whether or not they get access to new skills, whereas their level merely influences their base attributes.
Disney Speedstorm: Leveling Up Racers
To advance in level, all racers in Disney Speedstorm need resources. As soon as a player collects all of the necessary materials, they can quickly level up their racer, which will also result in improved statistics. Material types often fall into one of three categories: generic, class, or collection.
- Generic Materials include things like Racing Flags, Wrenches, and Traffic Cones. These are required for every racer at every level.
- Class Materials include things like Turbo Booster (Speedster Class), Boost Tanks (Trickster Class), Enhanced Bumpers (Brawler Class), and Chassis Reinforcements (Defender Class). These are required from level 10 and beyond.
- Collection Materials are unique to each show/movie. For example, Mike, Sully, and Randall all need to Scream Canisters to level up. These materials are required from level 4 onward, with even rarer versions required from levels 15 (Boo’s Door for Mike) and 25 (Sock for Mike).
