Diablo 4 Season 1 Start Date: Officially Announced for July 2023!!

Diablo 4 was supposed to release its first season in July, and it appears that it will come shortly, so that’s fantastic news. On July 6 at 2 p.m. ET, Blizzard will launch a developer live stream on the game’s official YouTube and Twitch channels.
Diablo 4 creators stated in a press release that the upcoming live stream will include all details about the game’s theme, release date, and more.

By the middle of July, more than a month after Diablo IV’s release, it may be ready for purchase. Those who haven’t gotten to the end of the story also benefit from this. The release date is currently unknown. However, the game’s general manager, Rod Fergusson, has stated that the release date may be announced next week.

Diablo 4 Season 1: Battle Pass

The game’s first battle pass, which is entirely optional, will be introduced in Season 1. Blizzard has stated that 27 tiers of free content are available to players who choose not to purchase the battle pass. Battle pass purchasers, however, gain access to all 63 premium levels and the 27 free ones.
A new battle pass will be distributed quarterly alongside each new season. There are three potential outcomes:
  • Free tier: Available to all players at no cost, offering limited items and progression through 27 levels.
  • Premium tier: Costs approximately $10 and provides access to all 63 content levels.
  • Accelerated tier: The priciest choice, around $25, grants access to exclusive content, twenty-tier skips, and a unique cosmetic item.

Finally, Blizzard has announced that fresh character creation is required to launch Season 1. Despite hostile reception, those who have finished the story on at least one character can bypass the campaign and proceed directly to the expansion.
