- The story continues
Historic Exotic Quests will be made playable in the new Exotic Mission Rotator. This will allow players to access vaulted content and obtain additional Exotic weaponry. Presage (Dead Man’s Tale), Vox Obscura (Dead Messenger), and Operation: Seraph Shield (Revision Zero) are the only confirmed games so far.
The cap for Ascendant Shards, Alloys, and Prisms will be increased in Destiny 2’s Economy & Rewards update, and players will no longer have to rely on the Postmaster to store them. In addition, instead of merely obtaining them as playlist drops, players can focus on new ritual weapons introduced in Season 22.
A new Hand Cannon archetype is also on the way. This new typology will comprise 600 RPM two-round burst fire Hand Cannons, beginning with the reprinted and modified Warden’s Law. Warden’s Law can be obtained by finishing Nightfalls or focusing it on Commander Zavala.
Season 22 will also see the continuation of the current Light and Darkness Saga. Specifics on what to expect are limited, but Bungie has indicated that the Veil will be expanded upon and the narrative behind it will be more accessible this time.

The upcoming Destiny 2 season will bring back a classic raid, and if leaks are to be believed, that raid will be Crota’s End.
Crota’s End debuted in the original Destiny on December 9, 2014. If Crota’s End returns, Destiny 2 players will have access to three of the original game’s raids, Vault of Glass and King’s Fall.

What Will the Power Cap Be in Destiny 2 Season 22?
The power cap will not be raised in Destiny 2 Season 22. This means the Soft Cap will be 1750, the Powerful Cap 1800, and the Pinnacle Cap 1810. Although Bungie has not confirmed this, Destiny appears to be departing from the usual progression strategy of chasing Powerful and Pinnacle drops. This was observed in Season of the Deep, where the power cap remained the same as in Season of Defiance.
