Accessing the Pulse Rifle, Autumn Wind
The short version is that you can win the Autumn Wind Pulse Rifle by competing in Crucible Bouts. The weapon will be available for pickup on the final screen of any completed activity, win or loss.
It’s the same for Iron Banner or Trials of Osiris, by the way. The Autumn Wind is this season’s “featured” Crucible weapon, meaning it has a higher drop rate than previous Crucible firearms in Season of Defiance.
However, after a player has the rifle, they can return to the Tower and talk to Lord Shaxx about upgrading it. Guardians can use a Crucible Engram to buy the pistol from Lord Shaxx and try to get the desired roll. Completing matches, win or lose (though winning games will garner them more points!), will reward the player Crucible Engrams as they progress through the ranks of the Crucible.
Now that players have the Autumn Wind, we can discuss the best use of it.
Can You Tell Me The Autumn Wind Pulse Rifle’s God Roll?
Since the gun is only available through PvP, its best features will significantly benefit the player if they listen to that playlist. However, many other roles are available, making the weapon suitable for both PvE and PvP play.
Rangefinder and Headseeker are the God Rolls to prioritize for competitive play. When the player uses the rangefinder and sights down, the gun’s effective range is increased by a constant amount. However, after landing several body shots, Headseeker grants improved aim to aid and actual damage.
For a range stat comparable to most Scout Rifles and a perk that awards players for hitting body shots, it’s no surprise that the gun has seen a lot of use so far, given the significant advantage it provides in one-on-one confrontations thanks to this combination.
In the current Grenades meta, Demolitionist and Adrenaline Junkie make an excellent team for PvE. With Demolitionist, the player’s gun gains Grenade energy with each kill, and with Adrenaline Junkie, the player’s gun gains a 20% damage increase after a Grenade kill.
The two bonuses complement each other well, and equipping both on the same pistol is a potent choice for PvE play. Regarding the current meta of the Lightfall DLC, the Autumn Wind Pulse Rifle has rapidly become a standard, and it’s safe to say it will remain so until it is nerfed. Destiny 2 may be purchased now for the PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox One X/S.
