You may play Cities: Skylines 2 with Game Pass. The Xbox Games Showcase has confirmed that it will be available for Game Pass users on the first day of release. Thus the base game will be playable immediately.
Cities Skylines 2 Trailer
While it doesn’t feature any actual gameplay from the upcoming city-builder, the above trailer for Cities Skylines 2 does show some of the goals Paradox and developer Colossal Order have for the game.
Then, at the Xbox Games Showcase in June, we glanced at the Cities Skylines 2 gameplay clip, which gave us a great preview of the possibilities. All the footage in the gameplay clip was shot in-game, so it should look good.
The Cities Skylines 2 Announcement Trailer may be seen in the videos down below-
Cities Skylines 2 Gameplay – What’s new?
So yet, there hasn’t been a lot of information about the actual gameplay of Cities Skylines 2. The announcement trailer showed a lot of potential features and had a narration that explained them, but it was mostly just a movie and didn’t show any actual gameplay. A list of Cities Skylines 2 Xbox achievements have emerged, providing invaluable insight into what gamers may achieve.
It’s worth noting that some awards highlight the importance of seasonal weather, while others recognize adverse outcomes. It seems there is a wide variety of natural disasters, such as tornadoes, meteorites, and even rat infestations, that can be used as punishment for players as they become ever more significant.
It’s unclear if these happen by chance or because certain conditions are met. I hope the sequel to Cities Skylines retains the ability to turn off random calamities, as was present in the original game. The ‘Snapshot’ achievement also hints at a different photo option for sharing your creations in the upcoming sequel.

The ‘Go Anywhere’ achievement, rewarded for 20 active transport lines, is also significant. The original Cities Skylines gave players various transportation options, from buses to metro tunnels and cargo ships. If this trophy is any indication, the sequel will have multiple vehicles for gamers to experiment with. The ‘I Made This’ accomplishment may also imply that there will be an editor in the game where users may create their assets.
Citizens must go through numerous procedural hoops. There are successes in city planning, citizen satisfaction, and academic mastery. Top-of-the-Class players have a population of 20% college graduates or higher. You can also earn the ‘You Little Stalker!’ trophy by keeping tabs on a citizen from their early years to their golden years. Creepy!
