Baldur’s Gate 3 is one of the most anticipated RPGs in recent years, with millions of players looking forward to it. It is a renowned franchise, and it has been over 25 years since the second instalment, which is regarded as one of the best role-playing games in history.
The name alone was enough to raise eyebrows, but fresh information released by Larian Studios has only added to the excitement.

How Long Will It Take You to Beat Baldur’s Gate 3
With all of this in mind, you may wonder how long it will take you to complete the game. Swen Vincke, the CEO of Larian Studios, stated that the developer team is putting in “between 74 and 100 hours” per session to complete the game. However, this is only true when focused on the game’s main plot.
That isn’t doing everything; it’s just a practice run. There will be those who go above and beyond and want to do everything. I believe they will reach 200 hours. On average, people going through it take 75 to 100 hours.
But there’s something even more crucial to consider: playing multiplayer could take nearly a year to complete the game with your buddies. Are there different ways to play it? Vincke stated. We saw that in Divinity: Original Sin 2, and it will be the same here. People who will be playing multiplayer will take a year, a year and a half. They will have regular gaming sessions, similar to D&D.

As you are aware, the long-awaited RPG will not be released on Xbox Series X | S, at least for the time being; it was cancelled due to issues with implementing its cooperative multiplayer on Xbox Series S, although Larian Studios confirmed that there is no exclusive with Sony, so the doors to release the game on Microsoft consoles are not closed.
