Limited Run Games has hinted at one final physical Nintendo 3DS release. As the 3DS eShop is no longer available, purchasing games will be limited to physical media.
Since its release in 2011, the Nintendo 3DS has had one of the best runs of any handheld device, and its library of titles is second to none. Nevertheless, it is no longer manufactured and is therefore not likely to get any new games.
Until April 3rd, users will be able to redeem download coupons, the sole remaining feature of the eShop that Nintendo has reinstated. Video game specialty shops and secondhand markets may be the only places for Nintendo 3DS fans to find more games. Those who are looking to declare their collection to be complete may be startled to learn that there is at least one more incoming 3DS title.
