As game sizes and complexity increase, AAA studios must similarly expand their workforce; nevertheless, the wider the net, the greater the risk that some information will slip through. While leaks have always been a part of the current video game industry, they have been much more common in the last decade or two.
Mortal Kombat 1 was one of the many high-profile games whose details were leaked before its official debut, as is more common these days. Mortal Kombat 1 wasn’t publicly revealed until a February 2023 Warner Bros. financial report, even though it was formally announced on May 18, 2023.

Even though the release date of Mortal Kombat 1 has been confirmed for September 19, 2023, rumours about downloadable content for the game have continued to surface.
Every Mortal Kombat 1 DLC Leak So Far

A user named billbil-kun on Twitter claimed to have confirmation that the next Mortal Kombat game will be titled Mortal Kombat 1 and that it would be released for PlayStation 5, Xbox One X/S, PC, and Nintendo Switch in three distinct editions.

DLC characters Homelander (created by The Boys) and Peacemaker (created by DC) were reportedly said to be in the works, though even the leakers admitted that the news was unverified. On May 19, barely a day after Mortal Kombat 1’s formal introduction, the game’s first Kombat Pack, including all Kameo fighters, was leaked online, suggesting not just two DLC fighters but all of them. The first Kombat Pack for Mortal Kombat 1 would have six playable characters, according to a sales listing on Amazon Italy that has since been changed with the actual product description.
In connection with Mortal Kombat, you can learn more about the Mortal character listed below.
Mortal Kombat regulars, including Quan Chi, Ermac, and Takeda, are here, along with three newcomers: the Homelander, the Peacemaker, and the Invincible version of the original Mortal Kombat’s Omni Man.
A listing on Amazon suggests that five Kameo fighters will be included in Mortal Kombat 1’s Kombat Pack. These Kameo fighters aren’t main characters but support characters who can be called upon to continue a player’s combo.

Tremor, Johnny Cage, Khameleon, Mavado, and Ferra are the names that have leaked as being the five Kameo combatants. New fans of Mortal Kombat will be familiar with Johnny Cage, Ferra, and Tremor, but they may be unfamiliar with the other two characters because they have yet to debut in the reboot series.
Mavado debuted in Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance, while Khameleon debuted in Mortal Kombat Trilogy for the Nintendo 64. While taking leaks with a grain of salt is essential, several clues here could suggest this Amazon leak isn’t untrue. In addition to the Kombat Pack, Amazon offers promised early access to Mortal Kombat 1 for at least 72 hours and a Jean-Claude Van Damme skin for Johnny Cage.
The Premium and Collector’s Editions of Mortal Kombat 1 have been announced, including an early access code and a Jean-Claude Van Damme Johnny Cage skin. Both versions of Mortal Kombat 1 contain a Kombat Pack, which adds six playable characters and five Kameo fighters (though it doesn’t say which ones). On September 19, 2023, Mortal Kombat 1 will be available for the Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.For a deeper dive into this topic, feel free to explore our website American Tech Journal.
